Painting is priced by surface: walls, ceilings, doors, frames, trim and exposed structure each have their own production rate and coating system. We measure paintable areas from the finish schedule and elevations and count items such as doors and frames separately.
The estimate converts areas into gallons per coat and labor hours, so you can price material with your supplier and labor at your rates.
