Equipment and Furnishings Estimating Overview
Equipment and furnishings are usually scheduled rather than drawn in detail, and many items are owner-furnished. We count each scheduled item, separate contractor-furnished from owner-furnished work, and list the plumbing, electrical and blocking connections each item needs.
Division 11 and Division 12 share the same takeoff method, and each is small on most projects, so they are estimated together on one page.
