Windows and Glazing Estimating
Glass and framing takeoffs for storefront, curtain wall, windows, skylights and interior glazing.
Windows and Glazing Estimating Overview
Glazing is priced from three quantities: glass area by type, framing length by system, and the number of units or openings. We take these off the elevations and window schedule and keep exterior and interior glazing separate, since they are often bid by different contractors.
Doors and hardware in hollow metal and wood frames are covered on our doors, frames and hardware page; storefront entrances are included here.
Also covered on this page: Windows and glazing portion of openings (CSI Division 08).
